Bio

Long time Producer & Promoter, DJ Jaye..Ruue, aka KING has been in the electronic scene since ‘97, when he began frequenting underground parties. While getting bored with the un-inventive music he was hearing at the time, KING started producing and DJ’ing that year. Since then he has been somewhat “under the radar”, lying low and keeping to himself. It took until around 2008, when he and an associate started a night called SMASH!, a full Dubstep/Bass music event boasting names such as Caspa, Mala, L-Wiz, Reso, Benny Page, Joe Nice, 12th Planet, Matty G, and 6 Blocc, just to name a few. All of that talent they showcased was within their first year! Meanwhile, KING had two solid releases on Shift Recordings compilation “Street Science Vol. 3, which included “Let it Ride Out”& “Swiss Miss”.

So what’s up for KING now? Well, his recent dubs are being heavily rinsed by the likes of 12th Planet, Akira Kiteshi, Komonazmuk, H.E.N.C.H, 16 Bit, Reid Speed, and more! As he will say himself, “Keep on the lookout, I’m just getting started”
